"A senior trip to Cabo is not the time to be getting all philosophical, though."

Ah, but with all those minds focused on it, it had to exist. Of course, if those minds couldn't decide what it was doing, it probably alternated between smoldering and simply being out.

Cabo sounds like a good idea to me. There is nothing so conducive to philosophy as a bonfire the size of a Volkswagon, and a gallon of Stoli Stingers.

Heh. And home made firecrackers. Some friends and I once spent a good ten minutes hiding behind a fallen tree debating the liklihood that the homemade fuse on a pound of black powder was out, or still smoldering. I think of it as the "Schroedingers bomb incident."

I can get drunk and philosphical right at home. Going to Mexico to do so seems a little odd.

Maybe they're going to Cabo Wabo? There, you could get drunk, philosophical, and, laid! Works for me!

Personally, I've always found alcohol very conducive to a philosophical state. But if you're going to Cabo hoping to get laid instead of get drunk, maybe philosophy would be out of place.

Dave, you mean "tenet". Tenants rent
apartments.

I think the quote refers to Cabo San Lucas. It is at the southern tip of the Baja California reigon of Mexico. I see no reason why one could not be philisophical and have a good time there, as long as a major tenent of the philosiphy is drinking heavily.

Can I ask what/where Cabo is? Somewhere in California?

I actually read it as "Cobo" at first, that is an ice rink in Detroit. I was bored/not feeling well yesterday and I watched "The Tonya Harding Story" on E! Pretty pathetic, I know, but that is where Nancy Kerrigan got bashed.
