Unfortunate name

I was driving past a Middle School in Killeen, TX, and saw a sign out front congradulating some people on being teachers of the month, using the first inital and last name.
One such teacher: F. Hole.

Misspelling names

This doesn't completely relate, but my sister Casey once got a piece of mail addressed to Cac4ey Corndorndearn. Another time, I got my state income tax refund addressed to someone with the last name of Kirbdierfer.

I had a friend that lived on a Becker Street, but the electric company would, on accident, surely, replace the B with a P.

On happy accident

I worked for a company called National Pipe Hanger. One day, the owner walked past my desk holding a piece of opened mail that he was reading. He stopped right in front of my desk and said, "I can't believe this, I just got a piece of mail trying to convince Natl P. Hanger to get a second mortgage on their house..."
