my mom, referring to the fact that everything in the store we were in only cost a dollar. see? it's genetic.

It's probably cheaper to buy a normal reindeer, then drive it insane yourself. Of course it's also fun to wander into stores like that and ask the salespeople how much random things cost. They love that. That and the perpetual Christmas music. Hey, when they finally snap you could put a pair of antlers on them and take 'em home for free!

Am I the only one reminded of the Animaniacs? The episode where Wacko goes to the dollar store and keeps asking Mitch the counter guy how much everything costs until Mitch finally yells, "It's a dollar! EVERYTHING in here is a DOLLAR!"...so Wacko loads up the cart with everything in the store and tosses a dollar at Mitch on his way out.
