Ms. Fudd on line 3
Submitted by tim on Wed, 10/15/2003 - 8:04am. Funny
Overheard walking by a customer service reps. cube:
" Ok Your pwiowity number is F, as in Fwank.."
All I could picture was the person on the other end saying..." Fwank??...Is that F-W-A-N-K??"

That's why I use the radio (or whatever) alphabet: A as in Alpha, B as in Bravo, C as in Charlie, D as in Delta, E as in Echo, F as in Foxtrot, etc.

Yeah yeah yeah

i've heard that before, too, and have tried it both ways. if they can't spell frank, what're the chances they can spell foxtrot?

slim, that's what. trust me.

Good point

Never understimate people's ability to screw up.

English does not borrow from other languages. English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over & then rifles their pockets for loose grammar. - Pegasus Publishing
