The links section has been updated, to reflect changing tastes and new goodies I've found, and the fact that I needed to take my mind off homework, studying, paper writing, and an odd feeling of impending doom about tomorrow.

But then again, I could be just tired and uncharacteristically pessimistic. About the whole, "tomorrow's going to be a bad day," thing. We shall see.

Back on topic, I was disappointed to see that Megnut is no more, because it was long overdue to be added to my list of favorites. Best of luck to Meg, in whatever she works on next.

Wow, Meg has a source log! (like a weblog, only different.) What a clever girl.

Mike, I checked the BBOCS Forum for the first time today, and there's a thread saying "Nick is OK". (I'd link to it, but Eve already has a link from IP) Someone who appears to be a friend of his says that he is doing all right, but will be away from his email for a little while.

Just thought you should know.

Read the most recent one. Breaks up with long-time girlfriend/fiancee, mentions killing self, no new messages.

Er, I didn't read any "suicide" bits from what Nick wrote... he was getting various illnesses over the last few months, maybe that is what he referred to? Several times he was getting by even while in severe pain. In any event, I wish him well.

Uh, in the archives, did Nick mention suicide? 'Cause that's what his most recent rant refers to. I don't mind the end of the strip, it was the "end it all" depressed tone that worried me... hopefully his friends have cheered him up.

Well, if you haven't heard yet, megnut is kind of still there. Just... look hard.

Mike, I'd been browsing BBOCS for the last week or two, and after looking at all the archived strips, I remember Nick's comment that he would probably stop before graduating. *sigh*

Eve, your links are much appreciated! I thank you for providing the rowdy masses with such good material.

As Mike points out, the Giving Zone link don't work so good. Maybe that's because it starts with "http://http://".

I think these various transfer protocols should give you twice the bandwidth if you mention them twice in the URL. But it doesn't seem to work that way.

Megnut was the very popular weblog of Meg Hourrihan (pardon if I spelled that wrong,) along with a webcam and some personal writings as well. She was one of the founders of Pyra, the company that developed blogger, and she had a great mix of news, links, and human feeling in her posts.

Just curious, what was Megnut?

Sorry to chime in again, but since this post is about your links-- and impending doom-- I thought I'd just say that I wish Nick Yu of BBoCS well. (Look at the 3-03-01 archive if it's been updated. If it's ever going to be updated.) I hope he feels better-- and not just because it was a damn funny comic. And because I've been using his page for music and game downloads. And because he had links to some of my favorite web comics.

Hey, some of us can't get a girl interested in us for more than a few months, let alone years. So whatever happens... um...

...crap, it's really hard for me to think of something positive to say! :^)
Sorry. I really do wish him the best.

I was wondering when you were going to put Little Yellow Different up.
Oh, and "The Giving Zone" link seems to lead, um, nowhere.

Impending doom? I always feel that, and eventually it'll be justified. That's the joy of being a pessimist-- when (not IF) worst comes to worst, at least you'll have the satisfaction of saying "I told you so."
