Remember the debate we were having about whether religion helps society, or if religion is the basis of morality, etc.? Here's the latest study, and I couldn't help but laugh when I read it. Enjoy!

Societies worse off 'when they have God on their side'

That certainly adds an interesting twist to our debate. Does anybody have a study saying the opposite? I don't feel passionately either way, but it is curious that most people (Americans, anyway) seem to assume that religious belief decreases societal problems, when the opposite might actually be true.
