is that it's sort of true: it's easier to recall things if you try to put yourself in the same state you were in when you first learned it.

What this says about your coworker's education (or the client's normal work-state) is another story.

The guy I'm quoting here is actually a great, wonderful person. The only reason I put the quote up is that he tends to... ah... bellow would be one word for it.

Sadly, he's out of the office on sick leave right now. I miss hearing his voice.

I went over to welcome him back and we talked about this and that (cabin fever, diabetes, God) for a good half hour. It helped me to remember why I still work here. Good people, increasing amounts of corporate nonsense... what's a "defined employment" coder with no benefits to do?
