Speaking of which this http://www.glarkware.com/securestore/c181844p16493759.2.html is hilarious and cute and I would by it if I had a kid or a sister-in-law with a sense of humor. But she is lacking.

My friend is getting that one!

I've been trying to find a holiday present for my friend's newborn, but I am totally clueless about such things. Now I can get my friend the tshirt, and she can embarass her child in later years! Perfect, thank you Cebu.

Good lord, that should be in Flash or something. It took me five minutes just to read the Prologue! I give up.

I blame Sesame Street and 80's MTV for my short attention span.

Igirly doesn't know how to link? That's... pathetic. Okay, babe, here ya go. To make it work, let's take an easy site like Yahoo and use a link word like "this," which is pretty common. Change the brackets to carats [ becomes link. [a href="http://www.yahoo.com" [a]this[/a]

Pretend this post doesn't exist. Nothing to see here.

I didn't previously make a mistake and then try to cover it up by editing my post.

Hey! Look over there!

Wow, Mike. That second page was... so un-web-like. Until I started pressing F5 like a monkey at a slot machine.

God's going to strike. No more taking that name in vain. Though they are at Mars which may invoke some type of dietal protection. And if you're going to get dietal protection the war god is almost the best you can get besides the wisdom god.

Damn Greeks and their mythology. Now I'm invoking the wrath.

Ummm...

No hypo guy - I guess the OC doesn't teach mythology does it? Mars was the Roman god of war (cause most of the planets were discovered by??? - no cool pts cause it's too easy) But two cool pts to anyone who knows why this is especially relevant to this site. (Well probably only Eve'd get this, but I may have mentioned it in the past)

But the I was also alluding to the Romans and how they had an affinity for the Trojans as they claimed to be descendants of that city-state. That's was the reference to the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena (Was that Minerva in Roman terms?), besting of Ares in the Trojan war. Thereby setting up Rome and all the same gods up with different names.

Do I have to spell it out for you? And the OC? Is that the TV show? Or are you referring to the actual county and their education system? Because I don't watch the TV show nor did I ever go to school in the county. That would be Matt I believe.

Sorry 'bout that hypo...
But you still didn't know answer my question as to why the planets were named for Roman gods, nor why that's relevant to IP.

Minerva was indeed the Roman conception of Athena.

Yeah, just because hypo played H2O polo doesn't make him an OC kid.

Though it did up his chances. Besides, hypo isn't White. And that pretty much ruins his chances of being an OC kid.

Since I'm talking about Orange County (CA) anyway, I'll just mention that I recently went back there for my high school reunion. I hadn't been there at all in seven years, and man has that placed changed. And yet the people are all still basically the same. It was a fat, strong reminder of why I left and now call Berkeley my home. Ugh.
