Seen a moment later: my son pulling up his shirt and pressing his chest against the window as we passed the truck.

Yup, I agree, that does. That is the sort of goofy shit I would do, no question. Only thing is, I would have been a lot more careful with those charges from the nose cones- I would have rigged a much longer distance fuse and made provisions for ducking behind something.

I also enjoyed the story he linked on playing with fire...
