"I think New Year's Eve is just a conspiracy to make you want Jamba Juice the next day. Think about it: hangovers, resolutions... um... it's winter, so you don't get much fruit in your diet..."
"Do you think maybe the holiday is older than Jamba Juice?"

how the guy suddenly realizes what a reach that statement is. And tries to justify it by adding no fruit in winter.

I painted my study green on NYE. The big chunks of the house were to be painted in 2003, and they were...................just.

Smoothies get more popular over here, but are still pricey. Unfortunately, because I like them.

And for the first time in about 6 years we were able to have our party outside without getting rained on, even if it is the middle of summer. Bad weather and parties is our family curse (averted for once)

When I was but a lad (in the Jurassic Era) we used to go to Catalina Island sometimes on New Years. I remember swimming around then and it was cold (ocean swimming).

...got my mind on my mangoes and my mangoes on my mind...

Yes, it's being a very long night, as you can tell when I start channeling Snoop Dog...

Oh yeah, yesterday I was craving some beverage I don't think I've ever heard of before. Funny that.

Or maybe I was still sick and went to bed at 12:02 am. :P

What is Jamba Juice?

Yeah, I celebrated NYE with the east coast, and was in bed by 9:30.
Gotta kick this cold somehow...

Jamba juice

umop - Jamba juice is a chain out here in Calif. They sell mixed fruit drinks, with 'additives' like extra soy, etc. -- very popular.

Also known as a smoothie franchise. The Starbucks of blended fruit drinks. Not nearly as healthy as they would have you believe, but it's one of the only places I can fill my occasional yen for wheatgrass juice.
Well...

maybe the Jamba Juice chain hasn't been around too long, but the need to rehydrate has been around as long as ethanol.

And just cause I can, again...FP!
