OK, this is weird! I, too, mush aside the front row of stuff to get to the second or third row of whatever I happen to be buying, but I don't know why I do this. I don't believe my mother does this. I do this for everything from packages of carrots to canned food. I guess either a) I'm a freak, or b) your mother has some sort of psychic ability. :0)
