Yeah, but sitting curbside? Was anyone even watching the stuff? I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be naturally suspicious about "free" drinks lying on the sidewalk. I've seen too many beer and soda bottles lying around filled with what is obviously urine; I'd suspect anything offering a sample. "Help yourself," indeed. There was probably some homeless guy hiding just around the corner, waiting for someone to drink so he could jump out and yell, "Ha ha ha! I peed in that!"
The homeless have very little else to do, you know.
