My boyfriend used to work at Taco Bell (for those who've never seen one, it's fake Mexican food). Because they were the cheapest place to get food in town & stayed open late, they often were visited by the local homeless. As long as they didn't bother the other customers or create a disturbance, management didn't care.
As a result my boyfriend saw a lot of people who should have been on medication or were self-medicated. The scariest one he ever saw was the guy who was arguing with himself, & lost the argument.
