A central site for confirming/debunking horrible customer service stories would be fascinating. (As well as disturbing, probably)
Then you could search for Comcast complaints pretty easily.

A few years ago, there was a big storm at my parent's house, which knocked a tree down, taking out the power lines. After power came back, they noticed that the cable internet was out, but the cable TV was fine. When they called in the service order (after getting a runaround on 'restart your modem', blah blah blah), the guy who came in was all set to look at the cable tv box. It required a second service call to get an internet fixer.
I think that was ATT, before Comcast bought them. They apparently had two separate divisions handling TV and Internet, and they didn't communicate well with one another.
