Since our esteemed governor was single-handedly responsible for them selling Hummers to the general population (for which I think he's gotten NO credit (or money) from GM), I wouldn't say Hummers are stupid. Of course they're ugly, they're a military vehicle. Of course that's the real Hummer, the H1. The H2 is just a very overpriced Suburban (same chasis). But the H1 works just fine, especially when's it's armored. An essential option for driving in California. (The .50 cal machine gun is also a nice option, makes people give you the right-of-way).
