There already exist warmers for that sort of thing..."pants."
Some people call them "trousers."
I use them almost all the time. The trick to keeping warm is not taking them off 'til you're indoors, so maybe that's where you're having issues.
Although a knit johnson cozy business might be profitable, maybe. No returns or refunds, please.
