...There are plenty of Native Texans who would never be considered 'cowboys' and plenty of imports who ARE 'cowboys'. We've got a houseful of Native Texans but no real 'cowboys'.

If you move somewhere and really like where you are, shouldn't you enjoy the culture and become a part of that community? I know someone who moved to France years ago who now speaks English with a French accent and has a very European outlook on things. Nothing wrong with that.

Many have come to the US and dove right into the American culture and I consider that a good thing. Why try to turn where ever you live into what you left? Wouldn't it have been easier just to stay home if that is what you wanted?
