I know for a fact that Retailer's consider the day after Thanksgiving 'Black Friday,' as that is when most go from being in the red (debt) to in the black (profiting). Mayhaps the same is true for the travel industry, that most profits come in on Thanksgiving weekend, more so than Christmas/New Year's.
