Crazy SPaniards

I'm Spain right now, and I was under the impression that they didn't do the Halloween thing, but apparently in Salamanca at least there are so many Americans and Irish that they have adopted the holiday. At least the bars have. Everyone got all dressed up and ran around the streets drunk, but they seem to have totally forgotten the all important candy part. Sigh.
Dia de los santos here is creepy, though. The lines to get into the cemetaries back up traffic for miles, and everyone goes to sweet shops to buy these creepy pastries that look like bones filled with goo, and taste awful, and are supposed to be Saint bones. So morbid.
