Compared to the Christian fundies, big-business toadies, and career politicos who generally run, I don't think Schwarzenegger would be a horrible possibility for president. Let's see how he does as governor before assuming the world would end if he got elected. That said, I really don't think Hatch's amendment will pass. Do you seriously think 3/4 of Congress will think it's a good idea to widen the playing field (especially considering that several of them have presidential ambitions of their own)?
