My first contribution to Friday songs. Thought this crew would definitely appreciate...

(Sorry about the lack of italics, I keep forgetting to pay attention)

Was a beautiful day when I brought you home
With my credit cards maxed and a payday loan
And I swore Id never let you get away
You were sleek and new and fast and fine
Came down to me from the top of the line
But as the months went by my eyes began to stray

Now your drives are full and your boot too slow
Though I only brought you home seven months ago
Im distracted by the models in the ads from the PC store
Youve never been nothing but good to me
Theres five months left on your warranty
But Im afraid we dont compute anymore

(spoken) Oh, I did my best to make you feel wanted
But soon I found myself wandering the aisles at the local PC Hut
Dreaming of the day when you would be replaced

I saw her in a magazine
She had a great big 21 inch screen
She was cooler smaller cheaper faster better
And the list continued (the list continued)
She was twice as fast, she was twice as cool
She made me feel like a great big fool
It was the day that you were discontinued (discontinued)

I love my old girl, may the good Lord bless her
But you cant compete with a dual processor
And the bloated apps these days make you look real slow
I tried so hard not to give a damn
She had hot specs and faster RAM
She had a nice fat bus
Aw man, she was good to go

You can call me a traitor, call me a bastard,
But I want to watch the status bar move a little faster
And you know I cried when your hard drive was erased
I took you out down by the sea,
To the shop thatll resell a used PC
On the day my computer was replaced
