The only cats that don't shed are the ones that have no fur and the ones with skin disorders. As for how well a cat might get along with dogs, well, that depends on two things: how young the cat is (the younger the cat, the more likely it is to get acclimatized to dogs), and how much the dogs want a cat around--I've had cats that rub up against dogs and purr, but that just wouldn't be healthy if the dog thinks of cats as snack-food that runs.
