The scary thing is that usually I can follow the path of association.
Then again, the other night I was half asleep and a folk song called "Waiting For Isabella" was going through my mind, having listened to that CD earlier in the day. The song is about a ship frozen in the ice of Baffin Bay and the sailors waiting for rescue... anyway, as I was drifting off to sleep my mind fit other words to the melody, and I woke up realizing that the song has the same meter as the theme from "Gilligan's Island". I didn't know whether to laugh or scream.
